I miss my walks back home with Tati, coming from a theater play or a movie, I miss his hand squeeze when he would call me “my beloved child”, I miss the whipped cream cups eaten each Sunday together, I miss the aroma of “Amphora” pipe tobacco, I miss seeing Tati in his armchair listening on the pick-up to Jacques Brel, Edith Piaf, Domenico Modugno…,I miss our talks, I miss hearing his deep and calm voice, and the last 15 years passed in a wink of the eye…

Two years have already passed, so quickly, since “Mami” went into another dimension…and I still continue to imagine that, in an alternate universe, nothing has happened, she is still alive and smiles at be with her beautiful smile…as she did her entire life. Today is not necessarily a commemoration…it’s just a day among the last two years when everything hurts more…and it’s an occasion for me to ask you, again, dear friends, to call your parents, to enjoy their companionship and to say that you love them…I can do so only in my alternate universe…
